The pencil is used to transfer drawings, motifs or inscriptions onto textiles or other materials.
The dye sublimates into the fabric when heated. Hence the name THERMOTRANSFER PENCIL.
Motifs are transferred through translucent paper, such as baking paper.
After tracing, the paper with the motif is turned onto the fabric and ironed with a normal iron on the cotton setting.
Cotton seems to be an ideal fabric.
The motif can be printed on several times.
It is also possible to finish the motif with textile paints or embroidery.
